Easy Chicken Alfredo

We are planning to have alfredo for dinner tonight so I thought I'd post the recipe. It has a really great homemade taste without the mess:)! Olive Garden has the best alfredo if you go out on a date. But this is a good substitute if you can't get out:).
1 box fettuccine noodles
1-2 jars alfredo sauce (We found Cheesy Ragu that is Light- less fat:))
1/2 lb. chicken shredded
Parsley flakes
Pinch of Garlic salt
Boil noodles, drain; heat up sauce; mix with chicken; add parsley & salt for color & taste; put in pretty bowls or plates. And you're done! Some do an alfredo sauce recipe but the jar of sauce is just as good especially if you're in a hurry. You're family will love it!
Enjoy & Have a wonderful spring day!

I have always found these cookie bars easy to make & a big hit wherever you take them. They are so delicious! Give them a try, especially if you have a sweet tooth!

1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips
1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Melt the butter or margarine in a 9x13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs evenly over the butter. Sprinkle on the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Cover with the flaked coconut. Sprinkle the walnuts on top of the coconut layer. Finally, pour the condensed milk over everything as evenly as you can.

Folding Fitted sheets

I saw this on the Real Simple website & really liked it. I always have a hard time folding fitted sheets & normally just roll it up:) ! This turned out to be really easy once I got the hang of it! :)

How to Fold a Fitted Sheet
Step 1
:Lay the sheet on a bed or a large table and fold in and smooth all the edges.

Step 2:Fold in half horizontally, sliding the top gathered end into the pocket of the bottom gathered end. If the sheet's sides are ungathered, lay them flat; if gathered, slide them in, too.

Step 3: Fold in half horizontally again.

Step 4:Fold the bulky end horizontally to the middle of the sheet.

Step 5:Then fold over the smooth end.

Step 6:Fold lengthwise in thirds, or to your desired size.

Have a wonderful day!

DEALS AT GROCERY STORES

I always find deals at Stracks and Van Til . I found healthy eggs for only $1.19 so I got 2 of them What A Deal! Then at Meijer I have found Laura Lean hamburger for only $2.15 a pound, but it it usually $4.49 a pound. So we usually get about four of them & freeze them . I always find deals like that at the grocery store. I also have found a great deal on milk. I got a gallon of chocolate milk for $2.00, then got 2 gallons of Oberweis Milk for $2.00 each. I always find deals on Thursday and Fridays because they mark down the stuff that will go bad by the Monday. If you look in the cases in the middle most of the time the markdown stuff will be in there, otherwise it will usually have a sticker on it in it's area. Check to see what your grocery store does. Also Organic products get markdown often because they go bad so quickly.

Hope you have success like I did.

Have a wonderful Day!
